Selected monuments of the Late Gothic sacral architecture in South Moravia in arthistorical context
MALÍKOVÁ, Tereza
The diploma thesis entitled Selected Monuments of Late Gothic Sacred Architecture of South Moravia in Art Historical Context is based on the author's bachelor thesis. It deals with the history, architecture and context of the late Ghotic pilgrime church of St. Wolfgang in Hnanice near Znojmo. The thesis tries to place the Hnanice church in the context of other stylistically similar church buildings in South Moravia and Lower Austria. It gives three examples of possible analogies from the Moravian Danube and another three examples from the Austrian Danube. The bulidings are described and further compared. The thesis also tries to answer the question of where influences may have flowed and what all may have influenced on the emergence and rising of sacral architecture of the late Gothic period.
The Story of Křemže in the 20th Century
VAČKÁŘ, Matěj
This diploma thesis deals with the history of the small town Křemže in the 20th century. In the introduction part, two chapters are dedicated to methods which are used throughout the work, microhistory and oral history. Then the history of the previous 20th century is presented in the work, but the key part of the work is dedicated to the period of the First World War, the First Republic, the Second World War, 1945-48, everyday life until 1989 and the subsequent nineties of the 20th century. The great history of the 20th century, such as the First and Second World Wars, is interpreted in the work, but everyday life is the key point for the entire 20th century. For Křemže, this history is not anything special, in fact, it only described the national history, but this is also one of the reasons for choosing this topic for the thesis. In the First Republic chapters, there are described joyful moments such as the construction of new buildings but great hardship and poverty as well. During the Second World War, the everyday life of the population who tried to live their lives is shown. However, the work also presents the resistance activity of some inhabitants, as well as the subsequent repression. In the next part, the work deals with everyday life during the era of communist Czechoslovakia and in conclusion there are presented the biggest changes that came to Křemže in the 1990s.
Design of school nature trail
VELÍŠKOVÁ, Nikola
This bachelor's thesis occupies with the possibility of connection of school subjects with teaching in the fresh air. The nature trail is projected in the campus garden in Kremze and are included not just signboards but also prepared activities for the teachers and the first grade pupils. The theoretic part dedicates to the history of the campus gardens, to their integration into teaching and to equipment. The practical part includes seven educational boards with texts and a methodical list of activities for particular checkpoints. Based on a questionnaire research that was sent to the teacher of the primary school of Kremze is apparent that the teachers would very appreciate the nature trail in their campus garden.
Distribution, binding and mobility of Ni in soil in the closed Ni mining area in the vicinity of Křemže
Pipková, Zuzana ; Ettler, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Vaněk, Aleš (referee)
Soils in the vicinity of Křemže in the Southern Bohemia are developed on altered ultrabasic rocks. The occurrence of Ni-hydrosilicate and Fe-rich ores in this area lead to their mining mainly during 19th century, then during the World War II. This thesis is focused on distribution and availability of Ni, Cr and Co and accompanying elements in soils at former mine and prospection sites (2 soil profiles and 32 topsoil samples at historical surface mine area). In all soil samples, physico-chemical parameters (pH, TOC, TS) and bulk concentrations of Al, Ca, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mg, Mn, Ni, Pb and Zn were measured. In addition, deionised water, DTPA and EDTA extracts were used to determine the (bio)availability and mobility of these elements. Some of trace elements were found in elevated concentrations in the mining area topsoils; mean Ni: 1175 mg/kg (range 545-2849 mg/kg), mean Cr: 416 mg/kg (240-849 mg/kg), mean Co: 127 mg/kg (65-238 mg/kg), mean Fe: 49155 mg/kg (30460-113800 mg/kg), mean Mg: 12648 mg/kg (8795-18770 mg/kg) and mean Mn: 1480 mg/kg (1028-2319 mg/kg). In soil profiles the Ni availability decreased with depth. In the uppermost organic O horizon in forest soil profile, 19.5 % and 23.8 % of total Ni was extracted by DTPA and EDTA, respectively. The extractabilities are decreasing down to mineral...
Local hydrogeology of the PLA Blanský les
Čečka, Jan ; Ondovčin, Tomáš (advisor) ; Čurda, Jan (referee)
The protected landscape area of Blanský forest is located in the region of South Bohemia, 12 kilometres south-west from the town of České Budějovice. Its geological environment consists of the granulite massif Blanský forest including a lot of bodies of ultramafic rocks - serpentinised peridotites, then we find gneisses of varied unit of Český Krumlov with many different types of rocks - crystalline limestones (marbles), amphibolites, quartzites and graphitic parts. This bachelor thesis aims to sum up as much hydrogeological data and knowledge about the area as possible. It presents characteristics of the hydrogeological environment like disposition of rocks to transport groundwater due to the influence of weathering, fissured zones and tectonic deformation. In its next part this thesis quantifies the hydraulic properties of present rocks by the number of the order of transmissivity magnitude Y and compares these results from pumping tests with theoretical opinions mentioned above. It also considers chemical and physical properties of qroundwater, the influence of mining and the water resources treatment. There are presented field data from hydrogeological mapping too. As the last part of this thesis, hydraulic and other data from hydrogeological boreholes which have been drilled until this time...
